When you notice the shredder is experiencing difficulty shredding, or gets jammed easily, then it's probably time to oil. If you use your shredder occasionally, then oiling your shredder may only be necessary every two months to maintain good performance. When I ordered this shredder, I didn't know what to expect, as it was my first time to order with this company. I've always shopped at BestBuy, for my office devices. ** I must say, it came rather quickly and packed really well. The packaging looked so, small- I thought a mini version of it was delivered- lol. I unpacked it and it was awesome. The design was nice, easy to setup, which was just placing the top on the included bin. Overall, a nicely compact shredder that's ready for work (shredding work). I've used it once so far, and it operated smoothly. So far so good. Will, give another update in a month. * I gave 4stars only because i used it once. so for my 30 day use and feed back on it- I'm hoping to give 5stars...
