One critical thing about anxiety is that it can impair your ability to function in daily life. Some symptoms include an interpretation of a neutral stimulus as threatening, excessive tension, and avoidance. Some ways to combat anxiety include talking it out with a trusted friend, exercise, quit that caffeine habit, eat healthy.
Depression is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide and its common symptoms are feelings of prolonged sadness. Even normal day-to-day activities require more effect than usual. Depression has a wide range of symptoms including overwhelming feelings of sadness, either a loss or excess of appetite, sleep problems, fatigue or loss of energy, impaired concentration or indecisiveness, loss of interest, and decreased sex drive. How do you deal with it when you feel like this? Reach out stay connected with friends, keep up with social activities even though you don’t feel like it, do things that make YOU feel good, exercise and eat well!
