Works great and is very quiet.

Bought to shred cardboard for mulch. Works great! Easy to tell the limits of the machine. It makes various sounds if the cardboard is too wide or too thick. I’ve already ran several car loads of cardboard through it and haven’t had a single issue. This is the perfect low cost alternative to buying mulch or renting a wood chipper.
BIG and powerful paper shredder
There are a number of shredders out there for this price range that are just heavy duty home shredders, but this is really made for an office or someone with a small business who is shredding a lot. It's a beast of a machine, but it does take up a good amount of space as well and is probably overkill for a single person in a small office. It shreds most everything without any issue and the noise level is very reasonable. Definitely a great shredder.

I rid myself of all identifying Mail and documents. I am in love! The shredder is quite. It also shreds into small squares instead large strips. I am so confident that this shredder destroyed personal indentifible information that I will use as confetti for a gift basket.
