I read some reviews prior and finally decided to give it a try. I have had no troubles with it and I hve been shredding years of outdated documents with it. For a home shredder I don't think you can beat it.
The only drawback is I don��t expect to grab the handle and waste basket at the same time and try to move it, other wise you will spill the waste basket and have a mess every where. So you better to empty the bin before is too full.
This machine comes with a red string at the back throughout the air outlet, and when I first used it I found it did not work at all. I doubt is the red string that ties the blade and stops it from working. So I asked for help. They had a very responsive customer service team and told me the red string is very short and won't stop the machine from working. Then they sent me a guideline about how to get it to work. Finally, problem solved, appreciate.
The shredder works well and is fairly compact. My favorite feature is the top that lifts up with a convenient handle, keeping all the shreds in the basket where they belong and hands away from the blades. My old shredder basket pulled out from the front and always left me with a mess of confetti to clean up. Very happy with this product.
